Fall Semester Application Dates
PAFA reviews applications on a rolling basis. However, we have identified submission dates that could impact when you choose to apply.

The Early Action option is for students who know PAFA is a preferred choice, would like to receive an admission decision before Regular Decision applicants, and be considered for scholarship priority, notably PAFA's full-tuition awards.
- Non-binding.
- Applicants are considered for scholarship priority, notably full-tuition awards.
- Applicants must submit their materials by December 1.
- If accepted, Early Action students will have until May 1 to confirm or decline their enrollment.
Regular Decision
This is the standard option for applying. Students must apply by this deadline to be considered for scholarship priority, notably PAFA’s full-tuition awards.
- Non-binding.
- Applicants are considered for scholarship priority, notably full-tuition awards.
- Applicants must submit their materials by February 1.
- If accepted, Regular Decision students will have until May 1 to confirm or decline their enrollment.
Rolling Admission
Rolling Admission is for students who may need extra time to finish perfecting their portfolio, get their questions answered, or decide on a program. PAFA will continue to review applications on a rolling basis after our Regular Decision deadline of February 1, as space remains.
- Scholarships, excluding full tuition, are available on a rolling basis to applicants that apply after February 1, as space remains available.
- If accepted, Rolling Admission students admitted after May 1 will have four (4) weeks to confirm or decline their offer of enrollment.
Using the Admissions Portal
During the admissions process, applicants may check the status of their application through PAFA's Admissions Portal.
- If you applied using PAFA's Application, you can sign in with the same application login. To track your progress in completing all the application requirements, use the 'Applications Summary' option.
- Common Application users will need to create an Admissions Portal account to check the status of their application. Use the same email entered on your Common Application.
Please note that only complete applications will be reviewed for admission. Applicants with missing requirements will be notified and should refer to the Application Summary page to see what materials are incomplete.
Decision Letter
Your official decision letter will be published in the Admissions Portal. If accepted, you can confirm or decline your offer of admission by using the "Respond" button on the decision letter.
