PAFA Preview Days

PAFA hosts a number of on-campus and virtual open house events for undergraduate and graduate students to provide an introduction to PAFA’s outstanding programs and our vibrant, diverse community of artists.

In addition to touring the school’s campus with our Student Ambassadors, Preview Day participants will receive information on Admissions, Scholarships/Financial Aid, Student Life, and much more!  All attendees receive complimentary PAFA museum admission following the Preview Day event.

Stick around for an optional express portfolio review with a member of our Admissions team to get feedback on your application portfolio. If you are interested in an express portfolio review following the event, please inform a member of our Admissions team upon check-in. Can’t stick around? Talk to one of our Admissions Counselors about scheduling either an in-person or virtual portfolio review at a future date!

Sign up for emails for undergraduate applicants or graduate applicants to get reminders of events and deadlines.

PAFA Comes to You

While visiting our campus is typically the best way to get a feel for PAFA and its community, we know that isn't always possible. If you can't come to us, we try to come to you. Admissions Counselors from PAFA travel across the country to meet with prospective students. Representatives attend National Portfolio Days and college fairs, as well as make individual visits to classrooms and guidance offices, and more.

School Visits

The PAFA Admissions Counselors visit many areas across the United States, including in-school visits to classrooms and guidance offices. During these visits we learn more about you or your students while providing students, educators, and guidance counselors with an overview of the school, as well as the portfolio review process, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.

These school visits are an important opportunity for you or your students to meet the admissions team personally without needing to travel! If you’d like to arrange an in-school classroom or guidance office visit with a PAFA representative, please contact the Admissions Office by telephone or email.

College Fairs

PAFA attends various local college fairs throughout the spring. College fairs give high school students an insight into the different options available to them after graduation. This is a great way for students to meet their PAFA Admissions Counselor, learn about our different programs, and ask any questions they may have. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for guidance counselors and parents to get a chance to speak with a PAFA Admissions Counselor to learn more about our school.

Portfolio reviews cannot be accommodated at college fairs, but interested students are encouraged to visit our campus and schedule an in-person or virtual Portfolio Review with PAFA.

National Portfolio Days (NPD)

PAFA attends various National Portfolio Days across the US during the fall and winter of every year. All National Portfolio Days are free and open to the public. Check out the National Portfolio Day website here.
