Summer Academy for Teachers

JULY 17 - 21, 2017

The Summer Academy for Teachers is designed to renew and invigorate teachers, as well as provide a reserve of project ideas for the new school year and personal artistic practice.  Open to artists and educators of all levels.

Each workshop runs 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., with a lunch break

IN 625DR  Elements of Expressive Drawing
Monday, July 17
Instructor:  Charles Muldowney

Examine the components of expressive drawing including line, value, composition, space/perspective, form, and texture.

IN 625TR  Image Transfer Workshop
Tuesday, July 18
Instructor:  Lisa Sylvester

Learn how artists past and present have utilized the process transferring a printed image from one surface to another, and experience this technique yourself as you create a transfer-based artwork.
