Art in Process Lobby Programming and Exhibitions Internship
Open to MFA2 Students
This year the PAFA Museum extended its hours to 9 pm on Wednesday nights. Accompanying that extension came a new series of public programming called Art in Process. As a part of that series, the Art in Process committee instituted a temporary exhibition space in the Broad Street lobby of the Samuel M. V. Hamilton building called Lobby Pop Up.
Depending on the week, the Lobby Pop Up can temporarily showcase either student work or Art in Process programs. Its goals are to activate the lobby of the Samuel M. V. Hamilton building during Art in Process programming, potentially coincide with other Art in Process programs and give students the opportunity to showcase their work in PAFA’s museum.
The PAFA Art in Process Committee is looking for a team of students eager to engage in a leadership and community building opportunity while gaining valuable art programming, exhibition and marketing skills. Please note that at this time this position is unpaid.
