This day-long teacher workshop for Philadelphia teachers is a partnership between PAFA and the Fairmount Water Works.
In the morning, teachers meet at PAFA for a tour of From the Schuylkill to the Hudson: Landscapes of the Early American Republic and to explore PAFA’s related resources and activities that emphasize visual analysis and critical thinking skills.
After lunch, educators will be transported to the Fairmount Water Works for a guided tour conversations about water systems’ management and an exploration of related watershed curriculum.
Lunch and transportation between sites is provided. Participants receive 3 hours of Act 48 Credit/New Jersey PD Credit.
