James Gaddy, PAFA’s Executive Vice-President of Human Resources and Administration, is responsible developing and directing PAFA’s human resource policies and activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and development. He is also responsible for PAFA’s customer services goals through the management of the Visitor Services, Groups Tours, and Security departments.  Gaddy has also been instrumental in diversifying PAFA’s revenue streams through the museum store, the café, and venue rentals.  In addition, he manages PAFA’s relationship with our exclusive caterers, Technology partners and other key partnerships such as Blick Art Supply and Mural Arts’ Tour Office.

Gaddy serves as PAFA’s Title IX Coordinator overseeing PAFA’s compliance with ensure compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and related state- and federal-law. 

Gaddy joined PAFA in 2008. Prior to PAFA, he was with The Vanguard Group for nearly ten years, serving in multiple roles that focused on policies and procedures, staff communications, and hiring practices for Vanguard’s Individual Production Services Departments. He also held several other positions during his tenure at Vanguard, including a six-month assignment as a front-line fundraiser at the United Way .

Gaddy received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance Management from Immaculata University and a Master’s in Organizational Development and Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University.  He currently serves as a board members for the Independence Business Alliance and at Da Vinci Art Alliance.
