Graduate International Students

Application Requirements

Unfortunately the Office of Admissions is unable to mail viewbook packets overseas. International applicants are encouraged to download the viewbook here.

In addition to the completed application materials, international applicants whose native language is not English are also required to submit official scores of either:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). PAFA's required TOEFL minumum is 80 (Internet-based).
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS). PAFA's required IELTS score is 6.5.

Student Visas

PAFA is authorized to offer F1 student visas. Fully accepted international students are provided with an I-20 Form to complete to apply for the F1 visa at their local U.S. embassy or consulate. International students are expected to provide evidence of the ability to pay full tuition and living expenses for the first year before a U.S. visa can be issued. F1 Student visas allow students to arrive 30 days before the start of the program, the start date will be listed on the I-20.

Scholarships

Graduate international students are considered for PAFA merit scholarship based on the materials provided in their application. To be considered for PAFA merit scholarships, be sure to complete the application process before the posted deadline. International students are encouraged to apply early and to send all non-electronic application materials by express mail..
