EJ Hauser is represented by REGINA REX in New York, where her paintings and drawings have recently been included in both solo and two-person shows. Her work has also been exhibited at the 2014 and 2015 NADA Miami art fairs in the REGINA REX booth.
She has been included in numerous group exhibitions including: The James Fuentes Gallery, Studio Zürcher, and ZieherSmith all in New York City; 243657, The Journal Gallery and NURTUREart, all in Brooklyn, and ACME Gallery in Los Angeles.
Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Art in America, The Brooklyn Rail, Bomb, The New York Observer, Two Coats of Paint, and The James Kalm Report.
In 2013, Hauser was a recipient of a Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant and an Artist in Residence at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2014, she was a SIP Fellow at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop in New York City.
She has lectured and taught at The Yale School of Art, Hunter College, Mount Holyoke, PAFA, NYSS, and BHQFU. She received a Certificate from PAFA, a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Hauser has lived and worked in Brooklyn since 1998.
