Colleen O'Donnell

Colleen O'Donnell is a contemporary figurative sculptor. She received her MFA from PAFA in 2003, and her Certificate in 1996. She studied figure drawing at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design in 1991.

She has been selected to participate in the invitational exhibit Hidden Cities (juried by Lisa Phillips, Director of the New Museum of Contemporary Art) in New York, and the Gracie Square Art Show in New York. Her other invitational exhibits include Reversing the Gaze in San Francisco, and the Kinsey Institute in Bloomington, Indiana. Her works are in many private collections throughout. She has also been selected for residencies at the Carving Studio in Rutland, Vermont, and the Fulton Street Gallery in Troy, N.Y.

She has previously been an instructor in the Apprenticeship Program at the Johnson Atelier Institute for Sculpture at the Grounds for Sculpture in New Jersey. She is represented by Susan Calloway Fine Art in Washington, D.C, and Riverbank Arts in Stockton, N.J.

O’Donnell teaches Terra Cotta Figure Sculpture, Sculptural Abstractions, Expressive Figure Drawing and Écorché in the PAFA Continuing Education program.
