22nd Annual Bacchanal Wine Gala and Auction
On Saturday, November 14, 2020, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts will celebrate its 22nd Annual Bacchanal Wine Gala and Auction. The event is chaired by Jonathan Hirsch and Julia and David Fleischner. Bacchanal is the only premier wine event in the Philadelphia region, and it is PAFA's largest fundraiser, bringing in over $500,000 annually. Since the event's inception, Bacchanal has raised over $9 million to support student scholarships.
Due to the current public health concerns, November's Bacchanal will be presented as a virtual gala. A live program will be streamed online for guests to enjoy from home, and will include an online silent auction of premium items. To enhance the experience, gourmet food presentations and specialty wines will be delivered to each guest's home.
This year, we are pleased to recognize Rosemary and Bill Hankowsky as this year's philanthropist honoree. Rosemary is a longstanding member of the Women's Committee, and Bill has served on the Board of Trustees since 2013 and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Development Committee. During the program, guests will also honor PAFA alumna Sarah McEneaney Cert. '79, the recipient of this year's artist award.
We hope you will raise a glass from our featured wine partner, Donelan Family Wines, with us at Bacchanal, and continue to help support student scholarships for PAFA's talented and dedicated student artists.
