117th Annual Student Exhibition Public Opening

A PAFA tradition returns this spring with the 117th Annual Student Exhibition, featuring nearly 1,000 works by PAFA students on the cusp of their professional careers. Filling two floors of the Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building, the Annual Student Exhibition is one of the most anticipated events of the year for art collectors and art lovers. At the opening, meet the artists, learn about their creative process, and purchase works by America’s up-and-coming art stars.

Points of View Speaker Series: This is Your Brain on Faces

Artist Chuck Close has spoken openly about having prosopagnosia, more commonly known as faceblindness, and bioscientist Jayatri Das unpacks the neuroscience behind the condition and how it might have impacted one of the greatest portrait painters of the 20th century.
