For All Levels

Eileen Goodman is one of Philadelphia’s most respected painters.  Known for their large scale and lush surfaces, Goodman’s remarkable watercolor still lifes achieve the saturated color, nuanced tonal ranges, and complex textures usually associated with oil painting.  Be guided by this recognized master while working from an array of inspiring arrangements in PAFA’s dedicated still life room.  Instruction will emphasize combining drawing with watercolor and pushing your work for maximum visual impact.  Includes a slide presentation by the artist, in which Goodman will discuss her own work and that of other artists.  Students are welcome to bring a limited number of works for critique.
