Docents guide both adult, college and student visitors on tours of the Academy's permanent collection and special exhibitions. The docent program includes a nine-month intensive training period followed by a commitment of at least two years.

Volunteers also provide a variety of important functions within all departments of the Academy, including curatorial, marketing, membership and education. The Academy is not accepting new volunteers at this time. Please check back for more information.
