The faculty, composed entirely of working artists, brings the curriculum and mission to life for students, maintaining high standards in a rigorous program, enabling students to master the technical, philosophical, historical and contemporary aspects of the fine arts. Several faculty members maintain professional studios on campus -- sharing some of their own creative challenges in the studio with students, putting lessons into a current context.

Throughout the year, an impressive list of visiting artists come to campus for lectures and workshops, and to visit students' studios for critiques, enriching the curriculum and mentoring provided by the Academy's distinguished residential faculty.

		Certificate Program Faculty A number of Certificate Faculty have studied at the Pennsylvania Academy, thus forming an unbroken chain of artists handing down the institution's valuable traditions to succeeding generations. Others bring different points of view to the Pennsylvania Academy from studies at other excellent art institutions around the world.
		Graduate Program Faculty The Pennsylvania Academy Graduate Faculty includes leaders of the contemporary art world, with national and international reputations as exceptional practicing artists. They exhibit, teach and are included in the most prestigious public and private collections around the world.
