BFA Program Curriculum The Academy BFA is the newest member of the Academy family of programs. It is a 126-credit degree program that is all-Academy. As the first undergraduate degree program at the Academy, it even has its own mini web site at: www.pafa.edu/bfa. Check it out to see which program is best for you. As well, since 1929, Pennsylvania Academy students have been able to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree by participating in the Coordinated BFA Program at the University of Pennsylvania; a program that provides artists with one of the finest educations available at two of Philadelphia’s top educational institutions. Students who have completed the first year as a matriculated student at the Pennsylvania Academy, and are in good academic standing, may be eligible to apply for the program. Students work with the Dean of Student Affairs to establish application eligibility to the coordinated program.
