Stanislaus Greidus, Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid

As Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid, Stan Greidus oversees the cultivation of new students for the Academy’s certificate, BFA, post baccalaureate, and MFA programs, as well as a targeted marketing strategy to increase student enrollment, which, due to the opening of the Academy’s Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building, is expected to grow from nearly 300 to 400 students.

Prior to his appointment at the Academy, Greidus worked at New York University, where he served in several capacities. His most recent post was Director of Enrollment Management for the university’s Steinhardt School, a position he held for nearly 16 years. In his role at NYU, Greidus was responsible for all aspects of enrollment, including admissions, financial aid, and housing for one of the largest graduate schools at the university. He has steadily beaten targeted admissions goals for each of the last 14 years, and served as the founder and chairman of the NYU Graduate Admissions Directors and Deans Council.

At NYU, he also served as Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions/Manager of Operations and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Greidus also worked as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of New Mexico.

Greidus holds a bachelor’s degree in university studies and a master of arts degree with a concentration in socio-cultural education, both from the University of New Mexico, as well as a certificate in international studies from NYU.
