Gallery Tours

The Museum's intimate and accessible galleries are ideal for adults, seniors and students in college and grades K-12.

Group Tours
Groups of 10 or more receive group discounts on admission.

Adult Group Tours are for adults and college students. Private, docent-led tours of both the permanent collection and special exhibitions can be scheduled in advance for groups of adults and college students on weekdays and weekends. Please call 215-972-2069 or e-mail tours@pafa.org.

School Group Tours are for grades K-12. Call the Group Tour Coordinator for more information at 215-972-2069 or e-mail tours@pafa.org.

Public Tours
Guided tours of the galleries with a docent are generally offered:

Highlights of the Permanent Collection, Historic Landmark Building
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

Special Exhibitions, Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

These times are subject to change. Please call in advance of your visit to confirm times for public tours.

Prospective Student Tours - School of Fine Arts

The Office of Admissions provides tours, information sessions, and portfolio reviews for prospective students in the Certificate, BFA, Post Baccalaureate, and MFA  programs.  Visit Schedule A Visit for extensive information on tours of the student facilities.

Admissions also provides high school group tours for visiting art students and teachers.  These can be coordinated with the museum tour office to make for a seamless visit to PAFA.  Contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@pafa.edu for detailed information.
