Note: There are no more First Friday Information Session events this academic year. However, please don't let that stop you. Feel free to call for individual tours and portfolio reviews for the remainder of the year. Showing prospective students, families, and friends around our facilities is our favorite thing to do. Give us a call!
These Information Sessions, held on several first Fridays during the academic year, begin at 3:00 p.m. and include a presentation on PAFA's degree programs as well as a tour of our Historic Landmark Building and the Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building.
All Admissions First Fridays are open to all prospective students, families, and guests: Certificate, Academy BFA, Penn BFA, Post Baccalaureate and MFA.
These sessions include:
- A portfolio review (if reserved in advance: see below)
- A presentation on the programs offered by the Academy
- A tour of our newly renovated facilities here in the Samuel M.V. Hamilton Building and our Historic Landmark Building, including studio and the historic Cast Hall—the most famous, and least visited, part of PAFA.
Portfolio Reviews and Reservations
We are pleased to offer portfolio reviews before each of our First Friday presentations, usually at 1:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. The demand for portfolio reviews is keen, so be sure and make your reservation with the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. You can reserve a portfolio review by contacting: admissions@pafa.edu or by calling 215-972-7625. Once you have confirmation of your portfolio time, please be prompt. Reservations for the Information Session can be made by using the form, below.
First Friday Reservations
Reservations for First Fridays and all of our other events are required, as space is limited and we like to keep our events small and casual. To submit your reservation, please complete the form below and select the program of your choice, or contact us at admissions@pafa.edu or 215-972-7625. Remember, our First Friday information sessions begin promptly at 3 p.m.
