PAFA After Dark takes place on four Thursdays each year from 6 to 9 p.m. Join us for these evenings of fun, flavor and friendship and experience our gorgeous galleries under the provacative blanket of night.

Spend an evening leaving the mundanities of your own real world behind and join PAFA instead for a romp through some of the best new artwork being produced in the city and zany collection of performances and musical numbers.

Do you live in a world where puppets are just for the kids? Not anymore! Spiral Q Puppet Theater will change your mind with the extreme awesomeness of their puppet performances. They'll even give you tours of the exhibition!

The boisterous musical stylings of the West Philadelphia Orchestra, a crowd favorite at After Dark, will accompany the puppet madness and set your feet to dancing.

InLiquid's artists will be here to provide a hands-on art-making project with....yarn! And they're very excited to tell you about the upcoming Art for the Cash Poor event that you should definitely not miss.

And how about visiting a world in which “good art” is not defined for you? Grab a ballot form and be part of the real life judging process by casting a vote for your favorite student artist - we’ll tally up the winners and send them off into their new, post-Academy lives with a little something in their pockets to make life after PAFA more bearable.

Finally, if you wonder how young artists deal with the realities of the “real world” they’re about to enter, we’ll have them on hand to tour their work and discuss how they decide what to show and how to price it.
