Ashley was a happy, sweet-natured child. No one was a stranger to her. She loved her brothers and tagged along everywhere they went and did everything they did.
On the day of the Oklahoma bombing, she had gone with her grandparents, Luther and LaRue Trent, to the Social Security office on the ground floor of the Federal Building. Arriving early for their appointment, they were in the building at 9:02 a.m. when the bomb exploded.
