Marsha Braverman

Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Marsha Braverman, PAFA's Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, is responsible for the development of marketing strategies that support the Academy’s audience and enrollment growth. In addition, Braverman directs advertising and public relations initiatives as well as visitor services and retail operations, while serving as the Academy’s liaison between key cultural, community, and business leaders.

In 2008, Braverman led PAFA's re-branding initiative, which included the creation of its new logo and tagline.  In addition, she was responsible for the development of the Academy's new website. 

Braverman’s experience includes serving as the Director of Communications and Legislative Affairs at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging; Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications at Bucks County Community College; Director of External Affairs at Valley Forge Military Academy & College; President of Adams & Braverman, Inc.; Art Director of Philadelphia Magazine; and Art Director at the Aitkin-Kynett Company and at Lewis & Gilman Advertising, Inc.

She received a bachelor of fine arts degree in advertising from Moore College of Art and Design and holds a master of arts in professional communication from LaSalle University, where she also served as an adjunct faculty member.
